President Volodymyr Zelensky has once again issued a warning to the Belarusian authorities.
He stated this in his traditional video address on June 20.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine has repeatedly signaled that Russia’s involvement of Belarus in this war could lead to extremely dangerous consequences.
However, Ukraine has recorded that special equipment has been installed along our border on Belarusian territory, which helps Russians launch drone attacks on Ukrainian territory. This refers to four such relays in Belarus, specifically in the Gomel and Brest regions.
“It is precisely thanks to such equipment that strikes were carried out on the Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn regions, on our energy sector, on our railway – on ordinary cities, on our villages. Belarus has time to dismantle this equipment,” Zelensky issued an ultimatum.
He also assured that Ukraine is aware of every factory in Belarus that works for Russia and for the war.
“Every enterprise that supplies components for Russian weapons – for armored vehicles, for missile systems – and also an enterprise that supplies fuel to Russia for the war – all of this is involving Belarus in the war. Ukraine does not want this, and we have warned the de facto leadership of Belarus, which influences relevant events,” the president said.
According to his data, in January-May alone, the supply of gasoline from Belarus to Russia increased 13 times compared to the same period last year, and diesel fuel – threefold.
“Unfortunately, this helps Russia adapt to pressure and does not bring peace closer. It should be the opposite: peace should be brought closer, and Belarus should do the things that its de facto leadership talks about through unofficial channels, so that we in Ukraine truly see that Belarus is truly against, against this war,” Volodymyr Zelensky concluded.
Recall that yesterday, June 19, Volodymyr Zelensky issued an ultimatum to Lukashenka. He demands an immediate cessation of assistance to Russia in correcting strikes on Ukrainian cities. The Belarusian regime has been given exactly one week to comply with the conditions.
