A new 446th drone systems brigade is being formed in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It will be the second brigade of this type created in 2026.
This is reported by MilitaryLand.
According to the publication, the 446th brigade is currently in the formation stage. At the same time, a number of other new formations are being created in the Ground Forces, including the 50th, 55th, 64th, 76th, and 167th mechanized brigades.
There are not many details yet about the structure and future tasks of the 446th brigade.
MilitaryLand notes that the emergence of another unit of this kind could be expected after the creation of the 445th drone systems brigade, which became known in July 2026. Additionally, the 447th drone systems battalion was recently formed within the Ukrainian Navy.
Currently, the 446th brigade is already recruiting military personnel, including accountants. It is also possible to transfer to the unit through the Army+ application.
Through Army+, military personnel can arrange transfers to new units, including under a program that simplifies the return to service for those who have voluntarily left their military unit.
It was previously reported that a new brigade of mine-sweeping ships would be created within the Ukrainian Navy, which would operate at sea and assist international partners in ensuring security when needed.
