As Ukrinform reports, Yusov announced this on Facebook.
“Today, law enforcement officers reported that they managed to prevent an assassination attempt on my life. It’s not the first time. I am grateful to all specialists, the Department of Criminal Investigation, the investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police, the Office of the Prosecutor General, all components of the Defense Forces involved in this successful special operation, who ensure the safety of our citizens every day, and in this case also worked professionally, once again thwarting the enemy’s plans,” Yusov noted.
According to him, Russia is cruel and insidious, and any Ukrainian can become its target today – “both a soldier on the front line, who risks his life daily defending the country, and an ordinary resident of a Ukrainian city, under terrorist missile and drone attacks.”
“At the same time, this latest assassination attempt can be seen as an assessment of my activities in the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Coordination Headquarters for Prisoners of War. This means we are doing everything right, and it bothers the Russian occupiers. Thank you again to everyone who helped save my life. After all, every such stopped crime is also a prevention of future enemy crimes. We stand firm, we will not give the enemy any chance. We continue to work,” Yusov emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported, a former military serviceman is suspected of preparing to murder Yusov.
