This evening, July 21, one “almost decisive meeting” concluded at the Office of the President of Ukraine, and another one is ongoing – also “virtually decisive.”
This was stated by the President’s advisor for communications, Dmytro Lytvyn.
“One almost decisive meeting has just concluded, and another is currently underway – already virtually decisive. Official communication will follow immediately after decisions are made,” Lytvyn stated.
Evidently, Zelensky’s advisor alluded to possible personnel changes, specifically concerning the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
It should be noted that yesterday, Dmytro Lytvyn urged **not to expect urgent personnel decisions** and appointments in the Armed Forces.
This morning, the Office of the President did not confirm preparations for Oleksandr Syrskyi’s resignation but stated that the head of state aims to enhance the effectiveness of the Armed Forces’ command.
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, explained **his attitude towards protests demanding his dismissal.**
For reference, the Head of the Presidential Office, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that **the public’s position on the personnel situation has been heard**, and relevant decisions are being made professionally and in the interests of the state.
