The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has once again expressed strong disapproval towards the US, reacting to statements by American officials regarding the timeline for ending the war.
This is reported by Russian propaganda media outlets.
The strong reaction from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was triggered by remarks from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who stated that the war in Ukraine cannot be resolved in half an hour. In response, Zakharova decided to recall Donald Trump’s past pledges.
“Rubio stated: ‘You think we resolved the war in Ukraine in 30 minutes? It doesn’t work that way.’ Nobody thought that. But everyone remembers how over 80 times Trump promised to end the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours, and then he highly praised the Anchorage summit,” the representative of the Russian department declared.
