Tyškevyč and Tomusyak disclosed the reasons for their arguments while awaiting a child.

Actress Kateryna Tyškevyč and her husband Valentyn Tomusyak, who are expecting the birth of a son, spoke openly about the pregnancy, changes in their relationship, a quarrel, and the future father’s care.

The couple admitted that the pregnancy has noticeably affected their daily life. Valentyn has become even more attentive to his wife, literally not allowing her to lift heavy objects. Even if Kateryna herself considers an item to be light, her husband immediately takes it from her hands. At the same time, the couple says that the future mother’s character has not fundamentally changed. According to Tyškevyč, she cried a lot in the first trimester, but the reason was mostly feeling unwell.

“Now you’ve become more attentive to this, it seems to me, and you don’t let me lift even something that doesn’t look heavy to me. You immediately snatch it from my hands. That’s true,” said Kateryna.

But the couple remembers another episode most vividly – the only serious quarrel during the pregnancy. Kateryna asked Valentyn if he had become more afraid of conflicts with her now. The actor admitted that he had been somewhat wary of quarrels before, but now this fear has intensified.

The reason turned out to be quite serious: after one of their domestic disputes, Valentyn was so worried about his wife and unborn child that he began to fear possible complications with the pregnancy.

“It was terrifying. I don’t want that again,” admitted Tomusyak.

Kateryna recalled that after that argument, her husband constantly asked if she was okay, and later they even went for a check-up. Valentyn himself explained his reaction even more emotionally: “I thought she would give birth right here and now.”

According to Tyškevyč, they do not plan to repeat such an experience. At the same time, the couple does not dramatize ordinary disagreements, as they are convinced that conflicts sometimes happen in all couples and can be part of their shared life.

Pregnancy has also brought more amusing moments into their daily life. In the early second trimester, Valentyn had to go to the store even around 11 PM when Kateryna suddenly craved fruits. However, there were also irritating periods: for about two weeks, almost everything about her husband could literally irritate the expectant mother.

Interestingly, the changes affected not only Kateryna. Valentyn also gained weight, and his wife did not ignore this.

“You gained weight. I remember you had such a belly for the first time… we’ve been together for 12 years, and you’ve never had such a belly before,” Tyškevyč joked.

The couple attributes this to psychosomatics, as Valentyn is actively experiencing the pregnancy with his wife and is very involved in everything that is happening to her.
