Ukraine has conducted a series of strikes on Russian Federation targets that are integral to Russia’s “oil wallet.”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian forces struck 16 targets within Russia over the past day. Among the objectives were oil infrastructure sites.
Zelenskyy shared this information on Telegram.
“In one day, our warriors authorized strikes on 16 sites in Russia. Specifically, there were long-range responses targeting oil facilities – the Russian oil wallet that finances the war,” stated Zelenskyy.
Additionally, according to the president, Ukrainian forces hit Russian airfields, a missile unit, and infrastructure that the Russian Federation utilizes for its attacks on Ukraine.
Furthermore, one of Russia’s military enterprises and logistical facilities were impacted.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine will continue to respond to Russian strikes and aims to degrade the aggressor’s military capabilities.
“The war must return to where it came from. Ukraine is responding to Russian attacks and doing so in a way that inevitably increases the cost of war for the aggressor,” the president underscored.
He also expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian military personnel involved in the operations for their precision.
Previously, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out new strikes on Russian military targets. In particular, the electronic warfare systems “Peresvet-M,” ammunition and weaponry depots, as well as a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet were hit. The General Staff is currently clarifying the consequences of these attacks and the damage inflicted upon the enemy.
