З піднятими лапками”: у Держдумі РФ закликали «стерти» українські міста

This outrageous statement completely shatters the Kremlin propaganda myth of strikes exclusively on military targets.

Vice-Speaker of the Russian State Duma Petr Tolstoy openly declared the necessity of bombing Ukrainian cities to demoralize the population. This contradicts the Kremlin’s official falsehoods about attacks solely on military infrastructure.

The United Russia deputy made such a statement on Russian propaganda television, as reported by the Telegram channel “Mozhem obyasnit.”

During the daily talk show “Vremya pokzhet,” political scientist Vasily Vakarov stated that approximately 20 million people currently live in Ukraine. He addressed Tolstoy with a question: “What do you think, if the land is scorched, if everything turns into a steppe, where will these people go? What fate awaits them?”

In response, the deputy proposed warning city residents in Ukraine 24 hours before strikes, allowing them an opportunity to leave.

“Do you think we are calling for cruelty? We are calling for the demoralization of the [Ukrainian] public to such an extent that they will come out to meet our troops with their hands up,” Tolstoy stated.

It should be noted that his statement contradicts the official claims of Russian authorities regarding the nature of strikes on Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and representatives of the Ministry of Defense have cynically lied since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, claiming that Russian forces allegedly attack exclusively military targets and infrastructure used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We remind you that on the night of August 28, Russia massively attacked Ukraine with 164 drones. Hits were recorded at 16 locations. In Zaporizhzhia, the enemy struck the “Epicenter” shopping center, injuring at least four people and causing a fire. In Kyiv region, warehouses of “Nova Poshta” and a production facility were damaged, with the occupiers launching repeated strikes during firefighting efforts. In Kharkiv region, one person died due to strikes on the residential sector, and two more were injured, including a child. In Zhytomyr region, four trucks and three semi-trailers caught fire at a private enterprise’s territory due to drone attacks.
