The start of the second ten days of August in Ukraine will largely be under the influence of an anticyclone. For most of the time, dry and cloudy days are expected.

At the beginning of the second ten days of August, an increase in atmospheric pressure and a gradual establishment of stable and dry weather are predicted for most of Ukraine. The amount of precipitation will be mostly small.

Weather for the week — August 10-16
Monday, August 10. Under the influence of an anticyclone, cloudy weather without precipitation is predicted throughout Ukraine. In the Left Bank of the country, the wind is expected to be northeastern, 5-10 m/s, in other regions variable, 3-8 m/s. At night, the air temperature will be +12…+18 °C, in the southern part on the sea coast up to +20 °C. During the day, the air will warm up to +27…+32 °C, in the southern and western regions, in places, up to +34 °C.
Tuesday, August 11. Anticyclonic circulation and dry weather will be maintained over most of the country. Significant precipitation is not expected, however, short-term rains are possible in places in the northwestern regions during the day. At night, the wind will be variable, in the afternoon westerly and southwesterly, 5-10 m/s. At night, the air temperature will fluctuate between +13…+19 °C, during the day +31…+36 °C. In the northwestern regions, cooler weather is expected: +26…+31 °C.
Wednesday, August 12. Short-term rains are possible in places in the central regions at night. During the day, significant precipitation is not predicted throughout the country. The wind will be northern, northwesterly, 5-10 m/s. In the northern and western regions, at night the air temperature will be +9…+15 °C, during the day +22…+27 °C. In the rest of Ukraine, at night +17…+22 °C is expected, during the day +28…+33 °C.
Thursday, August 13. Stable weather, without precipitation, will be established throughout Ukraine. The wind will be mainly northerly, 5-10 m/s. At night, the air temperature will fluctuate between +9…+15 °C, during the day +23…+28 °C. In the far south of the country, as well as in Transcarpathia, the air may warm up to +30 °C.
Friday, August 14. Dry and sunny weather, under the influence of an anticyclone, will continue to prevail in our country, no precipitation is expected. The wind will be northeasterly, 5-10 m/s. At night, the temperature will be +8…+15 °C, during the day +23…+28 °C. In the western regions, it will be noticeably warmer, around +29…+34 °C.
Saturday, August 15. Mostly dry weather without precipitation is predicted throughout Ukraine. The wind will be variable, 3-8 m/s, in the western regions southerly/southeasterly, 5-10 m/s. At night, the air temperature will fluctuate around +9…+16 °C, during the day +26…+31 °C. In the western regions, +31…+36 °C.
Sunday, August 16. Short-term thunderstorms will occur in places in the western part of the country. No significant precipitation is expected in the rest of the territory. At night, the wind will be variable, in the afternoon southwesterly, 5-10 m/s. The air temperature at night will be +12…+17 °C, during the day +29…+34 °C.
We remind you that after hellish heat, heavy downpours came to Ukraine. The day before, in Ivano-Frankivsk, there were intensive rains, causing severe flooding.
