Russia is suffering monthly losses of up to 30,000 soldiers on the front lines, while Ukraine is focusing on innovation and technological superiority.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian leader Volodymyr Putin has lost the initiative in the war. According to the head of state, 500 Ukrainian companies are developing cutting-edge military technologies to win the innovation race.
Zelenskyy shared this information in an interview with Fox News.
The President reported that approximately 500 companies in Ukraine are currently engaged in developing military technologies to gain an advantage over Russia.
“From the beginning of the war, when Putin said he would occupy us in two to three days, we are now building a huge military-technical industry. We have 500 companies with very powerful technologies,” Zelenskyy remarked.
According to the head of state, the war has evolved into a true race of innovations, where technologies must be continuously improved, as, for instance, drones quickly become obsolete without adaptation.
“We understand that this war changes every three to six months. We have to change technologies,” he noted.
The President also emphasized that due to Russia’s numerical superiority, Ukraine must outpace the adversary specifically through the pace of technological development.
“We must act faster than Putin because Putin has more people… and we must save our people and use more technology than [their] people,” said Zelenskyy.
Furthermore, he declared that enhancing Ukraine’s military capabilities and striking Russian targets have deprived Putin of strategic initiative.
“Putin is losing 30,000 soldiers per month. The losses are significant, but he does not want to stop this war. Therefore, the initiative is not in Putin’s hands right now,” assured the Ukrainian leader.
Incidentally, Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is prepared for a diplomatic resolution to the war and a temporary ceasefire, but the Kremlin is obstructing this process due to Putin’s reluctance to halt hostilities. According to the president, Russia’s aggression forces Ukraine and its international partners to increase sanctions and pressure on Moscow.
