It will not be easy for Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi in the position of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and his future success will largely depend on the people he involves in his team.
This opinion was expressed by a senior lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign “Alex”.
According to him, Drapatyi is leading the Ukrainian army during a difficult period – both due to the situation at the front and due to the high level of social tension.
“In addition to the difficult situation in the army and at the front, the new C-in-C assumes office during a period of great social tension, or rather, its exposure from all cracks, so society will assess Drapatyi’s actions with maximum attention, strictness, and criticism, constantly comparing him with the previous C-in-C, even where it will be maximally inappropriate,” the military man noted.
He emphasized that the Commander-in-Chief will have to consider not only the military but also the socio-political aspects of his work.
“Such officials must understand that their role has not only a military but also a political significance, so completely ignoring the social component will not work, because this is how we got to where we are,” “Alex” wrote.
According to the senior lieutenant, any person needs time to adapt to a new position, but in Drapatyi’s case, there will be little time.
“Undoubtedly, like any person assuming a new position, he needs time to ‘figure things out,’ but he will have little of it, as well as the right to make mistakes – that’s precisely why I am happy for Mr. Major General, but also very envious of him,” he noted.
In conclusion, the military man added that he places the greatest hopes on the future team of the new Commander-in-Chief and the correct direction of its work.
“Therefore, for now, I am counting more on the composition of his team and the correct vector of work. I hope for the best,” “Alex” summarized.
It was previously reported that 43-year-old Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi became the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We previously informed that the Russian invaders will make significant efforts to discredit the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi as much as possible.
