Oleksandr Usyk shared his impressions of the fight against Rico Verhoeven.

The world heavyweight champion according to WBA, WBC, and IBF, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, commented on his victory over Dutch kickboxer Rico Verhoeven.
The Ukrainian boxer posted an ironic message on Instagram, attaching a photo with his belts.
“They say watching my fight with Rico was very intense. Guys, I just didn’t want you to be bored, what are you talking about,” Usyk wrote.

Usyk defeated Verhoeven by technical knockout in the 11th round. Initially, the Ukrainian sent his opponent to the canvas, and then went to finish him off, and the referee stopped the fight a second before the end of the 11th round.
Verhoeven, after his loss to Usyk, was outraged by the referee’s decision, stating that the fight was stopped prematurely.
Rico has already filed an official protest regarding the outcome of the bout with Usyk.
At the time the fight ended, the Dutchman had a minimal lead on the scorecards of one of the judges, while the other two recorded a draw.
According to punch statistics, Verhoeven also had a slight advantage over Usyk.
Meanwhile, Verhoeven’s coach, after the controversial knockout, called on Usyk to have a rematch with his protégé.
Usyk has already responded to Verhoeven’s protest concerning the result of their fight.
Furthermore, Oleksandr revealed who he dedicates his victory over Verhoeven to.
