During the past week, DTEK energy workers restored electricity to the homes of 340,000 families following enemy attacks.
This is stated in a DTEK announcement.
“From May 4 to 10, DTEK energy specialists, with military permission, managed to carry out a series of repairs to energy equipment after the shelling that Ukrainian cities and villages constantly endure. Thanks to this, light returned to over 340,000 households in two frontline regions,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the largest number of restorations occurred in Donetsk region, where energy workers managed to bring back power to almost 200,000 households in the frontline region within a week.
Meanwhile, in Dnipropetrovsk region, energy workers restored electricity to nearly 141,000 families during the week after enemy shelling.
Energy workers are doing everything possible to rectify damages as quickly as possible. They begin work as soon as they receive permission and access to the damage site from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
We remind you that during April, Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK restored power to 1.5 million families who were without electricity due to enemy attacks.
