The Kremlin has once again spoken of “readiness for negotiations,” justifying the continuation of the war.

The Kremlin continues to brazenly repeat that Russia remains open to peace talks regarding Ukraine.
This was audaciously stated by the spokesperson for the Russian “führer,” Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, there can be no talk of “accelerating” this process at the moment. At the same time, the dictator’s henchman brazenly began to justify the continuation of the so-called “special military operation” – that is, the war. He claimed that the occupying forces are supposedly demonstrating “positive dynamics” on the front lines.
Meanwhile, Peskov reiterated Moscow’s propaganda points once again. The Kremlin traditionally blamed European countries for allegedly “inciting” Ukraine to continue the war.
The Kremlin spokesperson noted that “contacts” are being made between Moscow and Washington regarding Ukraine. According to Peskov, the Russian Federation “hopes” that American negotiators will “become freer,” then “face-to-face communication with them will be continued.”
It is worth recalling that analysts from the Institute for the Study of War emphasize that Volodymyr Putin has once again reiterated the conditions for ending the war. In particular, against the backdrop of his occupying forces’ failures on the front lines, the Kremlin refuses any territorial concessions that could be part of a peace proposal. Specifically, analysts pointed out that the Russian Ministry of Defense is disseminating inflated data about alleged “successes” on the front.
At the same time, Bloomberg, citing sources close to the Kremlin, reported that Moscow is unwilling to return occupied territories as part of any peace proposal. Furthermore, “führer” Putin aims to capture the rest of the Donetsk region and create a “buffer zone” along the borders of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
