The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an interview with an American blogger, debunked another fabricated fake news story by Russian propaganda alleging he jointly consumed cocaine with Emmanuel Macron.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy refuted claims by Russian propaganda that he allegedly used cocaine together with French President Emmanuel Macron.
He stated this in an interview with American political activist and blogger Laura Loomer.
“I have never used cocaine with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron,” declared the head of state.
It should be noted that American blogger Laura Loomer, who is close to American leader Donald Trump, interviewed President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. She announced this on social network X on July 23.
“Just interviewed President Zelenskyy at the Mariinskyi Palace in Ukraine. All questions were asked without limits, and I didn’t hold back. Full interview coming soon!” Loomer wrote.
Recall that the Office of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, responded to another fake disseminated by Russian propagandists. This time, the lie concerned the visit of leaders of the “coalition of the willing” to Kyiv on May 10, 2025. In a video of the meeting, Macron, accompanied by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, quickly removes something white from the table, resembling a piece of paper or a napkin, and puts it in his pocket. This became the basis for numerous posts suggesting that the politicians were allegedly trying to hide a packet of cocaine.
“When European unity becomes inconvenient, disinformation goes so far as to make a simple napkin look like drugs. These fake news are spread by the enemies of France – both abroad and within the country. We must remain vigilant against manipulation,” the statement from the Office of the President of France reads.
Experts note that such manipulations are part of a broader information campaign aimed at discrediting Western leaders and reducing confidence in international support for Ukraine.
