During a Stavka meeting, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was briefed on the implementation of “targeted operations” by special services against collaborators in temporarily occupied territories. Sevastopol was specifically mentioned in the report, where the traitor Robert Shageev, who sided with Russia after the peninsula’s occupation, was recently eliminated.
This is reported by Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement on his official Telegram channel.
“There was also a separate report from the special services on the status of targeted operations against collaborators in the temporarily occupied territory, particularly in Sevastopol, who are involved in Russian strikes against Ukraine and Ukrainians,” Zelenskyy reported.
The President stressed that “the responsibility of collaborators is inevitable.” However, he did not name specific individuals or provide details of the operations carried out.
Earlier, it was reported that an explosion occurred in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, which may have resulted in the death of traitor to Ukraine and former commander of the Ukrainian submarine “Zaporizhzhia”, Robert Shageev.
Preparation for the Autumn-Winter Period
According to Zelenskyy, the key issue at the meeting was the financing of Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces for the autumn-winter period.
Participants identified key deficits and additional needs for the development of technological weaponry, acceleration of strike weapon production, and new defense systems, including reactive interceptors.
The President also announced that Ukrainian intelligence had provided updated data on Russia’s plans, in response to which Ukraine is preparing countermeasures.
Strikes on Russia
Separately, the Stavka analyzed the results of so-called “long- and medium-range sanctions” against Russia, meaning strikes on strategic targets of the aggressor state within the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied territories.
According to the head of state, the defined plan is being executed, and priorities are being promptly adjusted in line with the set goals.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko also reported on the implementation of decisions from the Stavka and the National Security and Defense Council, and areas requiring additional attention.
Recall that earlier in Kyiv, the former “Minister” of Energy of Crimea was detained – the former head of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea’s Committee for Fuel, Energy, and Innovation Policy, Serhiy Kolobkov. After the occupation of Crimea, the official sided with the enemy and helped Russia integrate Ukrainian energy facilities into the Russian system.
