During his address to the UK Parliament in London, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the world requires a new security system capable of anticipating threats.

According to him, contemporary leaders must unite their efforts to ensure a secure future for people and to counteract aggressive forces.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for its support of Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began and highlighted the high level of trust between the two nations.

The World Has Entered a New Era of Warfare

The President underscored that drones and artificial intelligence are now determining the battlefield situation.

He noted that this evolution of weaponry poses new risks, and security must encompass not only the military aspect but also the protection of people, culture, and the state.

Ukraine is Already Sharing its Experience with Partners

Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine has dispatched military experts to the Middle East and the Gulf region to aid in defending against Iranian drones.

Currently, 201 Ukrainians are deployed there, with an additional 34 ready for deployment.

This initiative is part of the so-called Drone Deal, which Ukraine proposed to the US and is prepared to scale for other partners.

Drones Have Become the Key to Victory

The President stressed that Ukraine has learned to effectively counter the “shaheds” that Russia has improved.

Interceptor drones have proven to be the most effective means, being significantly more cost-effective than missiles or aircraft.

According to Zelenskyy, destroying one enemy drone requires only 2-3 interceptors costing less than $10,000.

Furthermore, 90% of the Russian army’s losses on the front lines are attributed to the operations of Ukrainian drones.

A Unique Real-Time War Monitoring System

During his speech, the President showcased an iPad with software that enables:

  • tracking the situation on the front lines

  • viewing every eliminated enemy with video evidence

  • analyzing strikes in the air, at sea, and over Russian territory

Zelenskyy indicated that such technologies could form the foundation of a future global security system.

Joint Projects with Britain and New Developments

The President announced the signing of a declaration between Ukraine and the United Kingdom to deepen cooperation in security and the defense industry.

Key projects include:

  • P1-SUN interceptor drones

  • joint development of OCTOPUS drones

Ukraine is also actively developing maritime drones, which have already enabled the displacement of Russia from parts of the Black Sea.

Ukraine’s Technologies Can Change the World

Zelenskyy declared that Ukrainian solutions can be applied in other regions, notably for safeguarding trade routes or countering attacks in the Strait of Hormuz area.

The President emphasized that Ukraine is ready for comprehensive defense cooperation with its partners.

Sanctions Against the Russian Federation Remain Critically Important

The head of state separately drew attention to the fact that Russia continues to finance the war due to the easing of sanctions on oil.

He thanked the United Kingdom for its principled stance and stressed that robust sanctions and defense cooperation are fundamental to ending the war.

Ukraine is no longer merely defending itself; it is shaping a new security model that other countries worldwide can adopt.

It is recalled that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine sent 201 military experts to the Middle East to protect the Persian Gulf countries from Iranian kamikaze drones.

Meanwhile, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, during a personal meeting with the President of Ukraine, stated what must not be allowed to happen due to the war in Iran.
